The St Louis Mo. Area Dodgeball April Meeting

Though I never officially cancelled that first meetup, it seemed like a pretty poor plan, and with threatening weather I suspected noone was going to show since it had little to do with dodgeball. So I was unable to drag myself out to drive the 3 measly miles to the place I had set up for the meet. Sorry if I disappointed anyone, I was a little depressed and didn't feel much like cavorting or schmoozing. We'll try and get something going in January. I'm game. Now for the original welcome I had posted:

Well I started this group to hopefully get out and get some vigorous exercise, and it has sprouted with a few members, but I am not as organized nor as driven as I am with my other group, so I will ask everyone to chime in and help decide what to do about this situation. I had envisioned getting a few people out into a school gym or YMCA or something for a few laughs and throw a few balls around and see how it feels after well, let's just say it has been a very long time for me in playing what used to be one of many contact sports I had a passion for as a kid, long long ago. Nixon was in the White House, and I was enjoying a childhood everyone should have. It was really great. We had it made. so the date for the meetup is very tentative, and I am unaware of a location to do this, I just haven't got anything going yet in this endeavor. I could use a little guidance. Perhaps someone would like asst. privleges and could get something going to spark interest in everyone, including me. I'm hoping there will be some wanna-bes like me who want to play that crazy game just one more time. So members, non members, whoever, please use the message board for any suggestions. I have a rifle arm BTW and used to be pretty good at dodging and catching my way to victories. Consider this a challenge. The location I have suggestion is strictly for meeting purposes, play a little foosball on me and hang out and maybe have a beer. Take in a little music and second hand smoke and see what happens.
